Experience The Healing Power Of Sound As Meditation

The Healing Power of Sound

The Healing Power of Sound has been a fundamental aspect of human civilization for centuries.  Since we live in a vibratory universe, everything we feel, sense, and touch is considered pure Energy that vibrates as per the Laws of Creation.

Around the physical body, there’s an electromagnetic field (plasmic field), which contains the body’s blueprint. And any physical issue that develops into a dis-ease or a diss-order, begins in the energy field. Hence, sound healing can shift frequencies going from low energy of fear to higher vibrations of joy.

Sound healing requires the use of sacred instruments or certain voices that produce vibrations dedicated to altering your brain waves and releasing energetic blockages, in order to create a state of harmony in the body

Malbert Lee, a Hong Kong-based Crystal Bowl and Gong Master, says vibrations are tremendously useful for healing the human body. “The adult body is 75% water, and water is a great conductor for sound vibration, and when vibrations travel through the body, they promote circulation, energy flow, and rejuvenation.

The frequency of the sound synchronizes with the brainwaves and activates distress responses in the body.”

Sound Healing is  known to help treat conditions such as stress, anxiety, high  blood pressure, depression, insomnia, pain, and autism to name a few

The sound produced by a singing bowl is said to evoke the Kundalini chakra and stimulate deeper feelings of spirituality.

The ancient Greeks used music to cure mental disorders and throughout history, sound has been used to help people work faster, influence, and boost morale.

Every human cell is responsive to frequency and vibration. The healing frequency of 528 Hz has been researched and explored by genetic biochemists that are currently using it in their labs to repair DNA that has been damaged.

During a Sound Healing Session, the Sound Therapist uses his voice and other musical instruments/tools including Tuning forks, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs, …etc., that operate on a mental, psychological, and energetic level by emitting certain frequencies.

These practices target the issue in the Energy Body and the Energy Field of a person, with an intention to create homeostasis, harmony, and balance.

    Other recommended healing

Sound Healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body and mind of a person with the intention of bringing them into a state of harmony and health. We can close our eyes, but we cannot close our ears. Every day our ears are working to let us know what’s going on in our environment and protect us even while we’re sleeping. Sound healing involves live healing instrument playing including gongs, singing bowls, vocalizations (singing), chimes, relaxing audio recordings such as nature sounds, and other sound or vibration based mediums.

When you are experiencing a sound healing session, you may feel like your body is buzzing, floating or a heaviness sensation as the cells in your body are vibrating with the frequency of the resonance in the room. This sensation can feel to some very spiritual and connected.

During a sound healing session, your body may start to become uncomfortable and you might experience anxiety. This is normal and it’s best to just relax through it. Much like a massage, sometimes it can be uncomfortable because it’s breaking up built up tension. Sound healing can do the same thing.

Even one sound healing session will help you feel more relaxed. By using sound healing as a part of your wellness practice, over time, your cells begin to create cellular memory, reaching these higher states of vibration more easily, allowing you to get deeper with your practice and be more calm and happy more often even when you are not in a session.

Sound healing treatments can assist you with a wide variety of your wellness, spiritual and personal goals. There are four recognized brain wave ranges:

Beta (13-30 Hz) is present in normal waking consciousness

Alpha (3-30 Hz) in states of relaxationTheta (4-7 Hz) in meditative states

Theta (5-7 Hz) REM, release muscle spasms and energetic blocks

Delta (0.5-4 Hz) is deep sleep, unconscious and/or profound meditative states.

However, specific frequencies have been discovered for the planets and for 15 of the major organs and tissues to create desired effects on the body. The specificity of these frequencies and notes are key to sound therapy.
